Hello Everybody!
Welcome Littl' Bits, Nickelodeon, & Anime Fans!
My name is Kyle and this page is the Official Fans Of The Littl' Bits Petition aimed at Shout! Factory & Saban Brands to put out an official 25 complete episode release of The Littl Bits. The Littl Bits also known as Belfy E Lillabit was a popular cartoon show made in Japan in 1980. The show was then rebroadcast on Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. Line-Up in the late 1980's and early 1990's.
The show has never seen a complete 25 epispode home video release in the Region 1 US American format. All that exists is a circulated 22 episode homemade bootleg; which is unexceptable and no substitute for an official collection for it's fans.The Fans of The Littl Bits & myself want Shout Factory to preserve our favorite childhood show before it deteriorates and slips into obscurity!
Here is the link for my petition bellow that I have created. Please spread the word to everybody! Trying to get at least 1,000 signatures by 2015. If everybody wants The Littl Bits on DVD, we need to do this now! Tell all of your friends and family to help get our favorite childhood show back on DVD! Shout Factory is the premiere company to do this and get it done right! Email Shout! Factory too! Tell Brian Ward at info@shoutfactory.com that you WANT LITTL BITS on DVD! Every vote counts! It starts with YOU!
Saban no longer owns the rights to the Animation, they only own the English dubbed audio track they produced. They licensed the animation to produce the English dub and once that license is up they can either re-license it (highly unlikely) or no longer pay for it after the licensing date is up. Chances are an actual DVD release is highly unlikely. It really needs to be worth it to be re-licensed and theres just not enough fans of this show. Theres the Japanese DVD set if your interested, but theres no English audio obviously.
